When we created a number of areas adjacent to our house, including a large wooden deck, a free-standing pavilion and a round gravelled area, and tried to decorate these, everything felt flat, empty, open and boring. We tried different sailcloths to create space and protection from the sun's rays, but it didn't work as water constantly accumulated. The furniture blended in with the surroundings and it generally felt static. There were many questions about how we would get this all in order and manage to create different rooms, places for different purposes and with atmosphere!

Among other things, we wanted to be able to delimit spaces, use them for different purposes and, not least, create beautiful, inspiring environments that all compete for our attention at all hours of the day.

Felt that the range of solutions was limited and created a lounge piece of furniture with arm and backrest that can be used as a storage surface, which can be modulated in different ways to either lie down or sit more upright. Designed room dividers and a new type of sun sail to delimit areas and create rooms as well as protect against wind and sunshine.
